Cairo churches including St. Sergio and the Hanging Church.

then have some time to shop at Khan Al-Khalil Bazaar.
In the
evening, enjoy dinner onboard the 2 hour sailing cruise long the

Great Pyramids and Sphinx at Giza Plateau.
Visit
the Egyptian museum at Tahrir Square which displays the ancient
Egyptian treasures.

early breakfast, depart for St Catherine’s Monastery and then
have lunch.

lunch, we proceed to cross over to Israel via Taba border.

Day 5 01

Timna Park / Masada-optional / Ahava Factory / Mount Scopus (B/L/D)
After an
early breakfast drive south to Timna Park, a large park that
sits in a beautifully majestic desert setting.
It has an
amazing history and geology. There are also a number of
unexpected activities including those on the lake (yes, a lake
in the desert!).
It covers
about 15,000 acres in a horseshoe-shaped valley surrounded by
steep cliffs, with Mount Timna, the world’s first ever copper
mine, standing tall in the center.
Lunch at
Dead Sea Area.
Next we visit
Masada, Masada has so much to see including the impressive
desert getaway palace of King Herod,
an underground
water cistern, an ancient monastery, a Roman bathhouse, and much
more.
More riveting
than its archeological features is the story that took place in
the small synagogue
renovated by
the Sycarri zealots.
After the
destruction of the Second Temple by the Romans, a group of
Jewish priests who were rebelling
against the
Romans Emperor escaped to the mountain plateau fortified 100
years prior by King Herod.
Visit the
Ahava Factory . Drive to Jerusalem.
Proceed to tour
of the Western Tunnels.
( We will have
a late dinner in our Hotel after the tunnel tour, so please have
a heavier lunch,
pack some
snacks so you can eat in the coach.)

breakfast, we proceed to Bethlehem– the birthplace of our Lord
Jesus.
We will
visit the Church of the Nativity, the birthplace of Jesus, and
Shepherds Fields.
Lunch in
Bethlehem.
Visit the
Garden Tomb.
Return to
hotel for dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 7 03

After
breakfast, start our tour from Mount of Olives where you will
enjoy a breathtaking view over the Holy City of Jerusalem
Proceed
to Mount Scopus for a view
Visit the
sanctuary of Pater Noster, where Jesus taught his disciples the
Lord's Prayer.
Walk along
the Palm Sunday road down to the chapel of Dominus Flevit (where
Jesus wept over the destruction of Jerusalem) ending at the Church
of The Holy Sepulchre and Garden of Gethsemane.
(where
Jesus prayed while Judas betrayed him to the Romans). Via
Dolorosa.
Then visit
the Church of agony, also known as Church of All Nations.
Lunch in
the Old City ( Chinese Lunch).
Drive to Mt. Zion to visit Tomb of King David.
Drive to
the church of St Peter in Gallicantu (and The Upper Room)
built over the site of the house of the high Priest Caiaphas,
where Peter denied Jesus 3 times before the rooster crowed
twice.
Dinner and
overnight in Jerusalem.

Temple Mount/ Davidson Centre / Jewish Quarter /

After
breakfast, we will visit the Temple Mount where the First
Temple stood in Solomon’s period.
This is
the most important religious site in the Old City of Jerusalem.
Next we
visit Davidson Centre and Jewish Quarter,
followed
by the Temple Institute where the items are produced for the
Temple Liturgy.
We then
explore the City of David.
The City
of David is an Israeli settlement and the archaeological site
which is speculated to compose the original urban core of
ancient Jerusalem.
We will be trekking through knee deep water in King Hezekiah's
2,700 year old water tunnel, one of the wonders of early
engineering.
Take the
Canaanite Dry Tunnel.
Continue
to Pool of Siloam, where Jesus healed the blind man.
Dinner
and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 9 05

Jericho / Sycamore Tree / Genesis Land & Camel ride/ Qumran

Arrive at
Jericho (& take the cable car) and view the Mount of
Temptation and Sycamore Tree.
The “City
of Palms” spreads out on the west side of the Jordan River at
825 feet below sea level. View Wadi Qelt.
We will
then visit Genesis Land for lunch & experience Bedouin
hospitality in a Bedouin Tent with a camel ride.
Finally,
leave for Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were
discovered.
Visit the
remains of the Community Center of the Essenes and the Caves of
the Scrolls.
Dinner
and overnight in Dead Sea.

We start
the day with Nazareth ( the Nazareth Village), the
hometown of Jesus.
Here we
will visit the Church of the Annunciation and Mary's
Fountain.
Lunch in
Nazareth and then proceed to Yardenit for baptism.
We end
the day with a relaxing and peaceful boat ride on the Sea of
Galilee,
and then
proceed to Kibbutz Ginosar to visit the Ancient Boat
Museum.
Dinner

This
morning, we visit Caesarea Philippi, the location of one
of the largest springs feeding the Jordan River.
This was
where Peter made his confession of faith in Jesus.
Explore Tel
Dan, the source of water of the river Jordan and have a
short walk through the refreshing natural reserve.
Head to
the Mount of Beatitudes. The so-called “Sermon on the
Mount” is recorded in Matthew 5-7 and Luke 6.
The Mount
of Beatitudes is also understood to be the place where Jesus met
his apostles after his Resurrection and commissioned them to
“make disciples of all nations”
St
Peter’s Primacy – The church where
tradition believed that the resurrected Jesus appeared to the
disciples at the Sea of Galilee. Next, visit Capernaum, a
village on the northern side of Sea of Galilee. It was the
centre of the activities of Jesus and his town during that time.

breakfast, visit Tel Megiddo, an important biblical city
situated on the gateway on the road linking North and South of
Israel,
about 30
Km south-east of Haifa.
Next,
visit Mount Carmel,where Elijah made his stand against
the prophet of Baal.
Continue
our journey to Caesarea Maritime, Herod the Great’s
masterpiece city on the Mediterranean coast.
Have our
lunch and along the way to Ben Gurion Airport, stop at
Jaffa.
